Middle School Strength + Weight Training
Our Middle School Strength Training class introduces youth to key fitness concepts through weekly focus areas. Starting with basic warm-ups, stretches, and fun games, we then explore different muscle groups and movements, including legs, arms, and core. As the program progresses, participants will work on mobility, agility, and cardio, helping them understand and apply these skills effectively.
Throughout the session, participants will also set personal fitness goals and track their progress building confidence, motivation, and ownership of their fitness journey.
To better support our participants, the program is now offered in two separate sessions: one for girls and one for boys. Please register for the class that best aligns with your child’s gender identity. If you have questions or would like help determining the best fit, we’re happy to support you.
Participants must complete the Teen Orientation as a prerequisite to taking the class. To schedule your Teen Orientation, contact Mike Race in Member Engagement at [email protected].
Proper attire is required, including t-shirts, shorts/leggings, and athletic shoes. We recommend bringing a water bottle and not participating on an empty stomach.
Participants must check in at the front desk each session.
