This Y program is designed to teach kids age 2 to 7 the fundamentals of gymnastics. This confidence-building sport improves self esteem, strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Most of all, it’s fun!
Fall 1 session (7 weeks) will run Sept. 12 – Oct. 30. Member registration opens August 22, Non-Member registration opens August 29.
Fall 2 session (7 weeks) will run Oct. 31 – Dec. 18. Member registration opens Oct. 10, Non-Members registration opens Oct. 17.

Designed to introduce children to sports in a fun, structured environment that encourages participation, builds confidence and fosters a love for staying active. Parents are asked to take an active role to ensure interactive participation that includes drills and game play.

Our introductory gymnastics class focuses on enhancing large motor development. Activities encourage coordination, balance, strength, and body/spatial awareness. Emphasis will be on developing self-confidence, building basic skills and having FUN.

Builds on the skills developed through several sessions of Gymnastics 1, enhancing and advancing basic gymnastics progressions on the floors and bars, while improving flexibility and strength.
