Your tuition starts the first partial or full week of school and continues through the last scheduled week of school. There are no refunds or pro-rations for absences, partial weeks (e.g., the first week of school), sickness, full-day closings, or emergency closings (e.g. snow days).
State Subsidy Assistance policies:
- Families are granted 10 vacation days, calculated July-June each year (not January-December). After a family has used all 10 vacation days, subsidy will not cover the cost of your weekly tuition payment. This means that the family would be responsible to pay the tuition rate if you do not have any vacation days left.
- It is the family’s responsibility to communicate with the program Site Director when they plan to use vacation days.
COVID Policy: You will be charged up to 10 days if a room is closed due to a COVID related event (possible exposure or positive test). If the closures exceed 10 school days, you will not be responsible for payment during that time. (Please note this policy only goes into effect if the Y closes the program, not if the school closes).
