Low Impact & Senior Programs

Whether you’re recovering from an injury, looking to relieve arthritis pain, or just want to connect and have fun with your peers, these programs are perfect for older adults. If you are especially interested in activities that reduce stress on your joints, consider the water-assisted exercise programs offered in our pools (click here to learn more) — providing natural resistance and the ability to improve your balance, flexibility, and mood. All classes are FREE for Members / $12 adult, $7 senior for Non-Members. Sign up through our Group Fitness schedule.


Balance, Mobility + Core

Improve your balance, mobility, and core through a series of movements that will increase your joint stability, enhance your posture and form, and employ your core strength to better support an active lifestyle and reduce your risks for falls and fall-related injuries. Mat required for core work, followed by standing balance exercises.

Mondays, 9:00-10:00am in Studio B


Active Older Fitness

Challenge your body through a series of cardio, resistance and core training exercises in this safe, effective workout designed especially for you! Chairs are available to compliment your core workout or to provide extra support as needed.

Tuesdays, 9:00-10:00am in Studio B


Gentle Yoga

Rejuvenate your mind and body through this well-supported, slower paced Yoga experience that involves deep stretching, relaxation and breathing to still your mind and reduce stress and tension. Bring your own mat, towel and water.

Tuesdays, 4:30-5:30pm, and 5:45-6:45pm in Studio B
Saturdays, 8:15-9:15am in Studio B


Matt Pilates

Improve your posture, gain flexibility, and strengthen your body’s powerhouse by engaging the abs, back, pelvic floor, hips and glutes through any combination of exercises utilizing gravity and props such as a pilates ball, resistance band, and light weight dumbbells. This low-impact class is for all levels and will connect your breathing to every movement performed. Bring your own yoga or pilates mat and water.

Wednesdays, 4:30-5:30pm in Studio B


Gentle Core

Challenge your core at the level you need, from gentle to intense, leading to overall core strength and stability, and improved posture and balance as a result!

Thursdays, 9:00-10:00am in Studio A


Senior Circuit Training

Improve your strength, cardiovascular endurance, balance and mobility through timed circuit-style training that will challenge your body in new targeted ways through specially designed stations.

Fridays, 9:00-10:00am in Studio A
