Since 1901, that’s what Camp Abnaki has been all about: fostering personal growth and independence in a safe environment on the shores of Lake Champlain in North Hero, VT. Traditionally a boys’ resident camp, Abnaki has grown to include a day camp for boys, as well as a variety of co-ed specialty, vacation, and family camp programs that build healthy, confident, connected and secure children and teens.

If you’re looking for an outdoor job this summer, look no further! Camp Abnaki is hiring a Groundskeeper and Maintenance Assistant to work closely with our Property Manager this camp season.

Camp sits on many acres that need tending to. Enjoy your day by the lake, as you mow the lawns, tend to the landscaping, pick up small building projects, and work to keep our camp clean.

  • Trash removal of buildings/cabins
  • Light maintenance to include: changing light bulbs or smoke detectors, light repairs, refilling paper products, etc.
  • Painting and sanding and other light building projects.
