Free Self-Defense Seminar for Women
The Y is excited to host a free Self-Defense Seminar for Women for members on Tuesday, May 25th from 7:00-8:00pm, with the option to attend in person or virtually.
This class will focus on the following:
- Situational awareness
- Avoidance of danger
- Listening to and trusting one’s intuition
- Projecting confidence
- Understanding pre-attack cues
- Physical fitness
- Basic physical skills that can be used in high stress situations
This class is free, but registration is required for both in-person and virtual attendance. As space is limited — with 20 spots available for in-person attendance — we also ask that you adhere to our “no-show” cancellation policy if you register, but are unable to attend.
