Megan2 Megan Kiernan

Megan grew up in Vermont and spent most of her early years running and playing team sports. From an early age, she loved the way exercise helped clear her mind and motivate her for the day. She’s coached soccer, basketball, and softball at various levels and has personally explored different avenues of fitness from distance running to strength training. Megan has been a member of the Y since 2006.

Though her formal education is in mental health counseling, her passion is personal wellness — which she sees as being a combination of physical, mental, and emotional wellness. She sees physical wellness as being a piece of the whole when it comes to getting and being healthy. Additionally, as a working professional, Megan understands how hard and how important it is to fit in daily exercise. She focuses on exercises that help build strength in an efficient, effective, and stabilizing (both physically and emotionally) way.
