Flip Dance and Circus
SURPRISE FUN! This fun session will get creative, with kids learning 8-counts for various dance activities and games. We’ll choreograph a dance to popular, appropriate music while we learn to follow counts and patterns. We’ll work on basic tumble and circus mat skills and learn proper form for balancing, cartwheels, jumps, rolls, leaps and more! Can you do a toe turn or cat leap? Each week will have a SURPRISE fun theme or activity that keeps you moving, such as Superhero, Super Circus, Street Games, STEAM!! We’ll use colorful, fun props like scarves, hoops, beanbags, instruments, pom-poms and animals! Strengthening, dance, motor development and learning what your body can do are the focus. GymShow for family and friends last day of class at (time? Usually half hour before end of class) ** Kids will receive special SURPRISE prop to take home!! **

MePower Afterschool Enrichment for 4th Graders
Authentic: knowing your strengths, talents, beliefs, values, your true self this is your Me Power. Confident: acting on your Me Power and being who you really are. In this afterschool enrichment program, students will use art, music, skits and “real” plays for fun and meaningful learning which will be immediately transferable to their lives at school and in the neighborhood. Participants will learn what Me Power is, the power of “Cool”, what it means for each of them to “Be You, Be Real, Be Your True Self”
Age: For 4th grade students at Jericho Elementary, Underhill ID, and Underhill Central
When: Thursdays, March 28-May 24 (no class on April 25), 2:55-4:00pm
Where: Browns River Middle School Guidance Room
*Students bussed to UID. All students will walk together from UID to BRMS with a Y staff-member.
In this exciting new class, each Junior Hero will develop their special superhero power, signature pose, and hone their superhero skills while learning tennis drills and strengthening their muscles! We’ll use props such as racquets, nets, mats, balls, and more to learn the skills necessary to save the city! There will be a graduation ceremony and family fun time on the last day! (Please send your child with a health snack, water bottle and sneakers).

GPS Soccer Club
Global Premier Soccer Vermont and the YMCA are together providing an afterschool program to develop skills, understand and love for the game of soccer. Players will be groups based on age and ability.
When: May 2-June 6, 2:20-3:30pm

Cheer and tumble!! Dance!! Great team experience!! No Stunting!! Get Strong!!
Welcome Spring! This session we’ll perform at sports events at St. Michael’s College, at the Burlington Waterfront for Kid’s Day and other great events! Lots of community building and team bonding! All events are family friendly and fun for all!
This exciting program stresses fun, self-awareness and community involvement! What can your body DO? How strong can we get? Participants in Cheer Team will learn dance, poise, arm motions, jumps, chants, cheers and some mat skills, all using 8-counts. Learn or perfect moves such as cartwheels/roundoffs, and work on flexibility! You will also learn teamwork, play games, and form groups to develop cheers and dances! Practice is weekly. All moves are appropriate, and cheers/dances are sharp looking, yet easy to learn.
Outreach to others is an important part of our work, and we often perform for seniors and charity events. Do you have an idea for an event? Let us know!!
Uniforms can be purchased at a discount IF DESIRED for about $54 for the skirt, shell and bow. All kids will need black shirts/shorts, white socks/sneakers. These can also be purchased with uniform packages with our discount pricing.
Ages: Cheer team is open to children in surrounding towns, 5-11 years old
