Georgia Elementary After School Enrichment

Please take a look at these engaging afterschool opportunities. Your child does not need to be enrolled in the Y’s afterschool program to enroll in these activities.

Reach out to Katelyn Irwin, the Y’s Youth Development Coordinator, at 652-8153 if you would like to learn about potential financial assistance.

Please pack a healthy snack for your child that is attending an afterschool enrichment.

Welcome Spring! This session we’ll perform at sports events at St. Michael’s College, at the Burlington Waterfront for Kid’s Day and other great events! Lots of community building and team bonding! All events are family friendly and fun for all!

This exciting program stresses fun, self-awareness and community involvement! What can your body DO? How strong can we get? Participants in Cheer Team will learn dance, poise, arm motions, jumps, chants, cheers and some mat skills, all using 8-counts. Learn or perfect moves such as cartwheels/roundoffs, and work on flexibility! You will also learn teamwork, play games, and form groups to develop cheers and dances!  Practice is weekly. All moves are appropriate, and cheers/dances are sharp looking, yet easy to learn.

Outreach to others is an important part of our work, and we often perform for seniors and charity events. Do you have an idea for an event? Let us know!!
