Cheer Team

Cheer and tumble! Great team experience! No Stunting! Get Strong!

This session we’ll perform at UVM and St. Mike’s basketball games, and work out with college dance teams!

This exciting program stresses fun, self-awareness and community involvement! What can your body DO? How strong can we get? Participants in Cheer Team will learn dance, poise, arm motions, jumps, chants, cheers and some mat skills. Learn or perfect round-offs, cartwheels, and work on flexibility! You will also learn teamwork by forming groups to develop cheers. Practice will be every week. IN addition to UVM and St. Mike’s we’ll perform at other area events such as Kid’s Day! Outreach to other is an important part of our work, and so far this year we’ve visited and brought cards to a nursing home, raised money for the Ronald McDonald House, and performed for both. What shall we do this season? Do you have an idea of an event? Let us know! Uniforms can be purchased if desired. All participants need to wear a black long sleeved shirt, white sneakers, white socks and black bike shorts.
