These camps focus their program around a certain activity, subject, or event! They tend to be smaller in group size and large in enthusiasm!

Pre-registration is required!

Burlington, Fletcher Free Library (8:30am-5:00pm)

Great early summer option for children entering 1st-6th grade.

Imagine Your Story

In collaboration with the Fletcher Free Library, campers will be inspired to Imagine Your Story! Campers participate in fairytale-themed activities and the library’s summer challenge.

Mountain Explorers Overnight Camp

Get outside this summer with the Y and REI!  In this exciting new camp, students will learn about their beautiful state through hiking, mountain biking, camping and more!  Campers will spend the first day learning about safe camping and their awesome Vermont backyard in REI’s community room.  On day two, we will leave for Gifford Woods State Park in Killington, where we will spend three nights camping and exploring the Green Mountains!

Additional activities include gondola rides, kayaking, and fly fishing!

Campers will be accompanied by experienced hiking guides with Wilderness First Aid/CPR certification.

**This camp includes 3 overnights***

Price includes most meals and transportation to and from Williston.

Ages:  Grades 6 – 8 (ages 12 – 14)

Fairfax Summer Day Camp (8:00am-5:00pm)

For children who have completed kindergarten up to age 12. This camp takes place at Fairfax Community Park

The Greater Burlington YMCA and the Fairfax Parks and Recreation Department are working together to bring you this exciting Fairfax Camp! Each week has a unique theme focused around a certain activity, subject, or event. Camp weeks tend to be small in group size and large in enthusiasm!

Camp is 8:00 am  – 5:00 pm each day and the cost is $225 per week.

In addition to the weekly themed activities, campers will play games and create works of art to take home!

Camp Soar at Fletcher Elementary (8:00am-5:00pm)

The fun continues this summer at Fletcher Elementary School!  Join the Greater Burlington YMCA for Camp Soar, our brand-new summer camp! Campers will participate in activities based on a weekly theme in addition to time-honored camp favorites like sports and arts & crafts.  Small group size, local flair, and experienced camp staff make Camp Soar great!

Camp Soar, led by Y Afterschool Director Hallie, is open to students who have completed kindergarten through 6th grade.

Camp is 8:00 am  – 5:00 pm each day and the cost is $225 per week.

Camp activities focus on teambuilding, hands-on learning, and opportunities to build confidence in a fun, safe environment. Campers bring lunch and two healthy snacks each day.

Half Day Specialty Camps at Camp Koda Locations

These camps are open to all, not just campers registered for Camp Koda!

Half Day Soccer Camp

Join Global Premiere Soccer this summer!  The Technical Training Program is for coed players aged 6-14 years. Consisting of five days of technical training, each day working on a different soccer technique followed by a final day of games allowing participants to showcase the skills they’ve learned including Defending, Dribbling, Passing and Shooting. Participants will be divided by age and ability before receiving an age appropriate but fun training experience provided by our professional coaching staff.

Time: 9 am – 12 pm

Cost: KODA Kids $75, Non KODA Kids $130

Half Day Everything Art Camp

Is your child the one who wishes art class could last longer? Then this camp is for your budding artist! Campers will get to explore hand-building with clay, outdoor watercolor painting, printing techniques, recycled art sculpture, and drawing techniques. Coed ages 6-11

Date/Time: June 22 – 26 from 9 am – 12 pm

Cost: KODA Kids $125, Non-Koda Kids $135

Half Day GymKids Academy Inc. Camps

Flip, Dance, Circus and Superhero Camp!

In this exciting new camp, each Junior Hero will develop their signature superhero pose and superpowers while building skills necessary to save the circus! Learn mat, dance, and circus skills! Juggle scarves, balance feathers, cat leap, jump! Kick over “buildings” and roll through the “streets” to get to the animals! Learn Kryptonite removal, neutralize poison bubbles, play street games! Use water noodles, hoops, rings and lots more! We’ll use our new skills to choreograph a cool dance. Creative movement and interpretive dance will be explored using music from Superhero Movies and Cirque de Soliel. Kids will get a Superhero Circus Starter Pack to keep, and there will be a GymShow on Friday. Director: Ila Sewall, GymKids Academy, Inc.

STEAM:  Move and Create!! 

This fun, non-competitive camp will have us exploring the space where movement meets science and the arts. We’ll make gliders, build with marshmallows and more. How would your body move if you were guided by air or made of clay? Explore spatial concepts, reactions, create art, balance a giant feather! We’ll do moves on the mats like cat leaps, rolls and strengthening. All concepts will be applied to movement activities such as creative and mirror dance. The focus will be on learning through the body, building on locomotor, gross and fine motor skills. Show off your projects and skills at our GymShow on the last day for family and friends! Please send a water bottle, flip flops, snack, hair tie. Kids should wear sneakers, clothes that can get messy and bring extras! Director: Ila Sewall, GymKids Academy, Inc.
