Specialty Summer Camps
These camps focus their program around a certain activity, subject, or event! They tend to be smaller in group size and large in enthusiasm!
In addition to the daily themed activities, children will play games (quiet and active) and create works of art to take home!
Pre-registration is required and is now open!

Community Engagement Camps
For ages 11-14
Community Engagement Camps provide an opportunity to make a real difference! Each week will feature 3-4 days of direct service with the community partner and 1-2 days of adventure-based camp. Camps are based out of local middle schools in Shelburne, Duxbury, Jericho, and St. Albans, but are open to residents of all communities.

|July 8-12||Digital Citizenship||This Shelburne-based camp allows kids to research and explore the habits of peoples’ relationships to technology today. Share findings and best practices for maintaining healthy relationships with others and with screens.||$250|
|July 15-19||Meaningful Pursuits||This camp is based at Crossett Brook Middle School in Duxbury. People derive meaning from their work and identify work to be done through areas of meaning in their life. Tap into native interests and explore the habits and practices used by experts to improve knowledge and skills.||$250|
|July 22-26||Mixed Mental Arts||This is a Shelburne-based camp. What are your reading habits and learning styles? What learning strategies do you use? Learn to love learning through: immersion-sharing-exploration-wonder.||$250|
|July 29-Aug 2||Accountability Blueprint||This is a Shelburne-based camp where kids focus on needs for personal well-being and establishing healthy habits. They will learn to take ownership over choices and goals.||$250|
|Aug 5-9||Caring of All Kinds||This camp is based at Browns River Middle School in Jericho. Grit and gratitude go hand in hand. Help yourself by helping others. Compassion will be shared through yard work as well as baking and meal preparation.||$250|
|Aug 12-16||Aim Small-Miss Small||This is a St. Albans-based camp. Olympic achievements begin and sustain by having specific and achievable goals. See the benefits of consistency through the eye of an archer. Reflect on the applicability of “SMART GOAL” setting in sports and in life.||$250|
Burlington, Fletcher Free Library (8:30am-5:00pm)
Great early summer/late summer option for children entering 1st-6th grade.
A Universe of Stories
In collaboration with the Fletcher Free Library, campers will gain an appreciation for libraries and the important role they play in our communities. During these sessions, campers will learn behind-the-scenes workings of the library, participate in the summer reading program, and take part in weekly events. And, because A Universe of Stories is the weekly theme, campers will engage in astronomy related crafts, games, and activities. Camp will be held in the Fletcher Room.
Fairfax Community Park (8:00am-5:00pm)
For children who have completed Kindergarten up to age 12.
In partnership with the Fairfax Parks and Recreation Department, the Greater Burlington YMCA is bringing an exciting and unique camp experience to Fairfax. These camps focus their programming around a certain activity, subject, or event. They tend to be small in group size and large in enthusiasm!

Half Day Soccer Camp
Join Global Premiere Soccer this summer! The Technical Training Program is for coed players aged 6-14 years. Consisting of five days of technical training, each day working on a different soccer technique followed by a final day of games allowing participants to showcase the skills they’ve learned including Defending, Dribbling, Passing and Shooting. Participants will be divided by age and ability before receiving an age appropriate but fun training experience provided by our professional coaching staff.
Time: Camp will run from 9am-12pm

Half Day Everything Art Camp
Is your child the one who wishes art class could last longer? Then this camp is for your budding artist! Campers will get to explore hand-building with clay, outdoor watercolor painting, printing techniques, recycled art sculpture, and drawing techniques. Coed ages 6-11

Flip Dance and Circus
This popular non-competitive camp is a fun filled week of mat, dance, and circus skills! What can your body do? How can we become stronger? We’ll work daily on skills such as rolls, jumps, handstands, round-offs and cartwheels! We’ll choreograph cool dances using 8-counts to popular, appropriate music that the kids help pick, and do fun creative movement activities. Dances include a culmination of skills we learn, such as a circus dance! Campers will work individually and in teams to become human sculptures, do mirror dance, and more! Circus skills such as balancing feathers, juggling beanbags and scarves, clown acts and specialties will be learned using the music of Cirque du Soleil! Campers will incorporate their new skills into routines for an exciting GymShow on Friday!! Everyone will get to take home an awesome Circus Starter Kit on the last day to continue to practice and wow their friends! Coed Ages 6-11

In this exciting new camp, each Junior Hero will develop their special superhero power, signature pose and hone their superhero skills! We will learn about the helpful behaviors and healthy habits needed to be a Superhero, while training our muscles to make them stronger! This non-competitive camp is for both boys and girls. It will include learning basic mat, fine and gross motor skills. Kids will get a “Superhero Starter Pack” to keep and there will be a graduation ceremony, Superhero dance and family fun time on Friday! Coed Ages 6-11
