Camp Koda Leaders in Training (LIT)
Learn the skills necessary to become a great leader! Participants in our LIT program gain valuable leadership and job skills through observation, mentorship, and implementation. Leaders will work alongside Koda staff and program supervision to build communication, management, and decision making skills.
We ask that our LIT candidates commit to meeting with the site director prior to the start of their time to create and set goals for their time at camp, whether it be one week or multiple weeks. Goals may or may not include: To lead a lesson or program activity or to be a leader of a specific age group and follow the set schedule. Program directors along with other staff are appointed to mentor the LIT and ensure she/he receives as much guidance as possible for a successful time at camp.
Cost: The LIT program is $115 per 1 week session (there are no partial week options.)
Requirements: LITs are expected to participate in a half day training in either May or June. Details will come upon acceptance.
