Burlington, Georgia, Grand Isle, & Waterbury Dates: Eight (8) 1-week sessions, June 21-25 through August 9-13
Underhill & Fletcher Dates: Seven (7) 1-week sessions, June 21-25 through August 2-6
Days: Monday- Friday
Cost: 5 days for $231, 3 days for $175
Financial Assistance: State subsidy is available for qualifying families. Additionally, the Y provides financial assistance to families for whom the full cost of camp is a hardship. Y scholarship recipients are asked to pay a portion of the program cost and to please recognize that financial assistance is limited.
Each week follows a special theme. Below is a brief description, by week, of the activities your child will enjoy.
|1||June 21-25||Hooked on Books||Could you — would you — swim like Champ? We'll have fun trying this week at camp!|
|2||June 28-July 2||Detective Training||Grab your magnifying glass and notebook. This week we'll solve mysteries with some help from your favorite detectives.|
|3||July 5-9||Fantastic Worlds||Immerse yourself in the fantasy realms of your favorite authors and find inspiration to create your own worlds!|
|4||July 12-16||Happily Ever After||Castles! Dragons! Magic & more! Classic fairytales inspire our activities–our crafts–our fun!|
|5||July 19-23||Atlas Adventures||Unearth the remarkable landscapes of our world through maps as well as geocaching and other activities.|
|6||July 26-30||Travel Through Time||Ever wish you could teleport to a different time and experience a variety of different cultures? This week you can dive through time with the Y.|
|7||Aug 2-6||Supernatural Series||Leap through the pages of magical worlds — hop on a broom — fight dragons — eat with hobbits — and venture into different realms to battle mystical beasts of all kinds.|
|8||Aug 9-13||Myths and Legends||A variety of fun activities based upon timeless stories from lands near and far.|
