American Sign Language

Join us for a class full of enjoyable, hands on, interactive activities that include games, songs, escape room style puzzles, crafts, and other fun props. Lessons are designed to ensure that student’s knowledge builds and is easy to put into practice right away. During each lesson the vocabulary of a specific topic will be introduced and then solidified in games and activities, catchy songs, and fun crafts. Each lesson is stand alone and does not require building on vocabulary from previous lessons, so new and continuing students can learn together!  Weekly themes are:

Cheer Team

Pom-Poms!! Dance!! Great team experience!!  No Stunting!!  Get Strong!!

Hello Spring!!  This session we’ll learn a pom dance and new chants/cheers! We’ll perform at fun events including KIDS DAY and the HUMANE SOCIETY’S 5K WALK/RUN for the ANIMALS, both held at Waterfront Park!  Our team banquet will complete the year. All community building events are family friendly and fun for all!

This exciting program stresses fun, self-awareness and community involvement! What can your body do? How strong can we get? Participants in Cheer Team will learn dance, poise, arm motions, jumps, chants, cheers and some basic mat skills. Learn or perfect moves such as leaps, cartwheels/roundoffs, and work on flexibility! You will also learn teamwork, play games, and form groups to develop awesome 8-counts!  Practice is weekly.  All moves are appropriate and sharp looking, yet easy to learn.

Outreach to others is an important part of our work, and we often perform for seniors and charity events.  Do you have an idea for an event? Let us know!!

Uniforms/bodysuits can be purchased if desired for about $50 for the skirt, shell and bow. Bodysuit is about $16. All kids will need black shirts/shorts/leggings,white socks/sneakers.  There are also package deals that include everything for a reasonable price.
