Child Care + Camps

We Know Kids!

At the YMCA, one of our primary areas of focus is Youth Development. Our programs—spread across four counties—offer a safe, nurturing environment for children to learn new skills, develop healthy and trusting relationships, and to build self-reliance through the Y values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.

Y kids develop social-emotional skills, appreciate the importance of physical activity, and learn how to be themselves. That makes for confident kids today and contributing and engaged adults tomorrow.

Something for Every Child

Children have a wealth of untapped potential. From early child care to youth activities and beyond, we ensure children are involved, engaged, valued, and cared for. We help to build skills and confidence as children explore new interests and passions through the Y.

Nurturing Potential

Because everyone—starting with our very youngest—deserves the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve, the Y nurtures the potential of every child and teen.

As a non-profit dedicated to supporting families, the Y offers financial assistance to ensure all children have a strong start to life. You can help support this work through a gift to the Y.
