Adult Aquatic Wellness & Lessons
Here at the Y, adults can take the plunge into better health, too! Join us for one or more of our many aqua aerobics, stroke improvement or instruction programs—or even create your own swim set!
In addition to the programs listed below, both our Lap Pool and our Program Pool include many open swim opportunities.
Private Adult Swim Instruction
From first-time swimmers to experts looking for help with a training regimen, we have a qualified instructor for you! From basic to advanced skills, our instructors will help you gain the confidence you desire and the skill you need. Each lesson is centered around your personal goals – whether that is overcoming fears or training for a triathlon. Each session is 30 minutes and is one-on-one instruction. For more information, contact Jess Lukas by email at email@example.com or by phone at 802-652-8143.
Swim Stroke Refinement Using Underwater Video
During this 45 minute session in the lap pool a coach will help you to identify changes to improve your swim stroke(s) using a submersible iPad. Underwater video will be taken and reviewed to provide immediate and detailed stroke feedback. After the lesson the video will be emailed to you with voiced over feedback related to the lesson. These are one-on-one lessons that are individualized to provide the greatest opportunity for success. Please contact Jess Lukas, Aquatics Director at firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
