DROP-IN CHILDCARE ASSISTANT

The Y offers onsite childcare to all members for use during operational hours. Members can register children ages six (6) weeks to ten (10) years with Drop-in Childcare to ensure care during the hours in which they choose to use the Y facility. Drop-in Childcare ensures a safe and nurturing environment with age-appropriate activities based upon the participants that day.
Currently, we’re seeking a part-time Childcare Assistant to work with the team on Thursday – Saturday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
This opportunity may be combined with other Y early education opportunities pending the appropriate experience and qualifications according to Vermont State Licensing and Regulations.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have at least one year of childcare experience from infants to school age.
- Demonstrate a nurturing and patient demeanor.
- Provide friendly guest service to all members, participants and staff.
- Follow general childcare guidelines.
