Y Early Childhood Programs offer developmentally appropriate activities in nurturing, respectful environments, while meeting the needs of our families. The Saint Albans Y Early Childhood Program is hiring a full-time Associate Teacher to work with the preschool children ages 3 to 5 years of age.
The center is located at 75 Lower Weldon St in St. Albans City.
You’ll play a valuable role in the Early Childhood Program by assisting in maintaining a neat and organized classroom, the development and execution of curricular programs, establishing professional relationships with parents, and enriching and nurturing the lives of the children.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED with at least one year experience working with children ages 0-8 or at least 3 college credit courses in child or human development or school age care and education.
- Demonstrate patience and acceptance.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
