The Greater Burlington Y is looking for energetic, self-motivated individuals with a strong work ethic to join the aquatics department to help people reach their fitness goals in the water. Qualified instructor applicants must be at least 16 years of age and have the visual and auditory ability to respond to emergencies in the aquatics area and must hold current CPR for the professional rescuer and AED/First Aid certifications. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, preparing and implementing water aerobics plans, and promoting water safety. You will be working with a wide range of people with differing physical capabilities, patients and a good attitude will be needed. Various shifts available.
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must have current CPR for the professional rescuer and AED/First Aid certifications
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- Preparing and implementing water aerobics plans
- Promoting water safety
- Provide a patient and efficient approach to communicating with participants and members
- Must love to swim!
