The Greater Burlington YMCA manages a number of after school program in the towns surrounding Burlington. Most are accredited through the Vermont Stars program and are located in elementary and middle schools. We are recruiting for the coming school year and the positions will begin in late August. The individual programs serve anywhere between 12 to 50 children ranging in age from five to twelve. As a director, you would supervise 1 to 6 staff depending on the size of the program.  The hours are 2:30 to 6:00pm Monday through Friday. With planning time, the workweek is approximately 24 hours per week. 

This is a very rewarding position for someone who has afternoons free and enjoys children. We are looking for someone who has experience with children, can relate to the parents, is able to engage with both and oversee their chidren's safety.
