Group Fitness Classes Print E-mail

Classes in Burlington are included for Burlington members.  Classes in Winooski are included for Winooski members and Burlington members.  Winooski Express does not include classes.  Anyone else may participate on a space available basis for $12 per class (unless otherwise noted).

All classes are for ages 16 and up. All classes are available to members on a first-come first-served basis.  All classes are one hour in length unless othewise noted.  Class offerings are subject to change.

Strength & Conditioning Classes

Ab Blast 
Twenty-five minutes of nothing but abdominal work to strengthen your core and flatten your midsection.

A.M. Attack 
This class will challenge you in the early morning with Cardiovascular Training and Strength Training circuits to start your day right!

BODYPUMP 
Join the latest trend in body sculpting. Refine your lifting techniques in this total body toning and strengthening workout. BODYPUMPTM combines great music with powerful moves. Great for all fitness levels.

Cardio Cross Training
Burn a massive amount of calories in this cardio training class that combines step, hi/low, plyometrics and power bursts, strength training and more!

Cardio Sculpt 
This class combines weight training & aerobic movement for strength & cardiovascular conditioning.

Chisel
A high intensity interval training class that features plyometric drills and cardio bursts. (This class involves high impact activity, i.e. jumping)

Reebok Core
Condition your whole body with cardio and strength drills. Improve endurance, balance & stability with the use of the Reebok Core boards. This high intensity class will challenge you!

Rip & Spin 
This spin class will challenge both upper and lower body with interval training. Alternate between cycling sprints and weight lifting using both endurance and explosive training.

Ripped! 
This class will pump you up! The instructor may incorporate hand weights, reistance bands and other equipment to shape and sculpt your entire body. Concentration is on toning all the major muscle groups.

Step 
Step is designed to challenge your coordination and agility, while improving balance and aerobic conditiong. High and low impact movements demonstrated.

A combination of an intense step workout with muscle conditioning using free weights, bands and body weight exercises.

This ultimate cardio strength training class will maximize your calorie burn utilizing STRIVE strength training equipment.

Turbo-Ripped 
This high intensity resistance and cardio workout is proven to rev your metabolism for hours. Burn twice as many calories as traditional weight-lifting through double duty drills that work multiple muscle groups at once. Shake things up between sets with high intensity cardio bursts.

A dynamic cardio strength workout practiced barefoot!  This workout uses functional training techniques to build strength and endurance, improve posture and facilitate good movement.  Willpower & Grace will help you stand taller, walk with greater confidence and function with agility.

Spinning Classes

Extended Spin
Ride your way through rolling hills, steep climbs, false flats, sprints and more. Imagine you are in a race cycling any part of the world! Your instructor will motivate, you control the intensity. Class runs 70 minutes.

Yoga & Pilates

Pilates 
Tone & elongate muscles, improve body mechanics, flatten abdominals, alleviate stress & refine breathing patterns in this unique workout.

Kundalini Yoga 
A moderate to vigorous practice of postures and meditation to increase health and harmony. No experience neccessary. Modifications provided. Class runs 1.5 hours.
SATURDAY - 10:00AM - BURLINGTON

Sivananda Yoga 
Reatin the vitality of the body by simply and naturally incorporating proper breathing, exercise, relaxation, positive thinking and meditation. Class runs 1.5 hours.

Yoga 
Vinyasa and Flow Yoga blend an array of yoga styles & practices. Class incorporates a flow of postures with an emphasis on connecting breath with movement. You are guaranteed to feel better after each class!
