Waterfront Boot Camp - Burlington Enjoy one of Burlington's greatest assets - the waterfront! Meet Personal Trainer, Ally Gould, at the Burlington Y, jog to the waterfront and greet the day with dynamic strength and cardio combinations and invigorating pylometric moves! Mondays & Wednesdays 5:30 am - 6:30 am $55 members / $79 non-members Basic Run Training Improve your endurance! Learn techniques to improve your cardiovascular capacity, proper fun form and workouts to improve your time and distance. Receive pointers from Trainers Ally Gould and Steve Gaydos on proper clothing and footwear, using a heart rate monitor and other topics. Finish the session with a celebratory 5k! Weight lifting increases your resting metabolism and is one of the most effective ways to blast fat. Join Personal Trainer Michelle Keegan and learn weight lifting techniques to shape your body and get lean for the fall season. Wednesdays 7:00 am - 8:00 am $35 members / $50 non-members Winter Sports Conditioning - Burlington Get ready for your favorite winter activity! Let Personal Trainer Steve Gaydos lead you through the perfect pre-season workouts to get in shape for the snow and ice. Workouts can be customized for your sport preference and will include a combination of a cardiovascular and strength training. Thursdays 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm (10 weeks starting October 14) $45 members / $60 non-members NEW! Healthy Back Strengthening - Burlington (Ages 21 and up) 80% of Americans experience back pain at some point in their lives. If you would like to gain strength, flexibility and relieve pain, come try this program, directed by Catamount Physical Therapy and Chad Rainey, PT. Gentle exercises will emphasize flexibility and strengthening the lowe back and abdominal muscles helping you to a healthier back. Mondays 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm $40 members / $60 non-members NEW! Strong Knees Conditioning Program - Winooski (Ages 21 and up) This strength program will focus on specific exercises to increase knee stability, strength, and range of motion.
