Members from other Ys visting the Greater Burlington YMCA
Members at other YMCAs are welcome to use the Greater Burlington YMCA 3 times in a calendar year for free.
All YMCA members from Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont (except for West Suburban Y of Newton) are welcome to visit for FREE with no restrictions, just bring your membership card and a photo ID.

GBYMCA members visiting other Ys- AWAY Progam
The Greater Burlington YMCA participates in the AWAY (Always Welcome At the Y) program that allows YMCA members travelling outside of their hometown to utilize other YMCA facilities across the country. A reduced guest fee may apply, so consult the Y that you are visiting. Members of other Y's visiting the Burlington area may use our facilities for free up to three times per year.
GBYMCA members visiting other Y's in New England
Your Greater Burlington YMCA membership card provides you free access to any YMCA membership facility in New England. We are for healthy living and we want you to stay active and keep moving! Now, we have made sure there is a Y wherever you are. So get out and explore New England, visit friends and relatives, and remember to take your Y card with you.
All YMCA members from Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont, will be welcome - free - with their current YMCA ID card anywhere in New England.
Non Participating Y’s:
1. Martha’s Vineyard – can’t use during peak island time; WE can use: Columbus Day to Memorial Day
2. West Suburban Y of Newton
Some restrictions may apply so please check the Y you plan to visit by going to their website and clicking on My Y is Every Y to learn more.
Photo ID and membership card required.
Members can bring a guest 3 times a year for free. After that guests are welcome to get our day passes- see prices on the Rates and Payment page.
Tours and Trials
To schedule a tour and try out the Y for a day please contact Graham Gowen by email at email@example.com or by phone at 802-652-8162 with questions.
All new members receive a free New Member Orientation with a staff member. If you recently joined, but haven't scheduled your orientation stop by Member Services to schedule a time that works for you. During your orientation you can discuss your goals, learn more about the Y, take a tour, get oriented to any of our equipment, or learn some new exercises. If you'd like to talk further withe one of our program directors about aquatics programs, group fitness classes, family programming, or any others just let us know and we will put you in contact with them. We want you to be successful and are here to support you.
