We offer a variety of group fitness classes throughout the day in our Burlington and Winooski locations to accommodate your schedule and fitness level. Choose from traditional classes as well as cutting edge classes such as Cross Fire, Group Power® and Zumba®!
Our energetic and inspiring instructors are ready to motivate you to be your best. Take a class today, and you’re sure to sweat, strengthen, relieve stress and have a great time!
Burlington members can attend classes in Burlington or Winooski.
Winooski members can attend classes in Winooski. Winooski Express does not include classes.
Anyone else may participate on a space available basis by purchasing a daily pass (unless otherwise noted).
All classes are for ages 16 and up. All classes are available to members on a first-come first-serve basis. All classes are one hour in length unless otherwise noted. Class offerings are subject to change.

Wake up your mind, body and spirit in this fun All-Levels class. Each class is tailored to the student's experience level and where they are physically. The class may include some guided breathing practice and meditation to help relieve stress and anxiety.
Buns, Legs, Core and more - these are the areas you want to work and work you will in this creative chiseling challenge. Focusing on the Lower Body, Core and Upper Body we create the ultimate Total Body Workout.
Push your limits in this boot camp style class which includes cardio, pushups, jump squats, and much more. Want to be out of your comfort zone? Give this class a try.
Tone and elongate deep muscles with this mat workout. Improve body mechanics, flatten abdominals and alleviate stress! Weights and stability balls are added to really challenge your core and build abdominal strength.
A class that links Hatha yoga poses together to emphasize strength, endurance, balance and postural alignment.
Group Core is a 30-minute athletic and functional core workout that strengthens everything from your shoulders to your hips. You will be stronger, quicker, and faster in all you do. Core work can also reduce back pain and will give you great looking abs! It’s quick, challenging and like nothing else.
Group Blast® is 60 minutes of cardio training that uses The STEP in highly effective, athletic ways. It will get your heart pounding and sweat pouring as you improve your fitness, agility, coordination, and strength with exciting music and group energy. HAVE A BLAST!
Group Power® is YOUR HOUR OF POWER! Blast all your muscles with this high-rep weight training workout. Using an adjustable barbell, weight plates, and body weight, Group Power combines squats, lunges, presses, and curls with functional integrated exercises. Dynamic music and a motivating group atmosphere will get your heart rate up, make you sweat, and push you to a personal best! POWER UP!
High Intensity Interval Training has proven time and time again to be the best bang for your buck when it comes to cardio. Burn fat and increase endurance…..25 minutes to a healthier you!
Slim down, tone up, and have fun! This cardio dance fitness class burns fat and calories while toning your abs, legs, and arms. For beginner, intermediate, and advanced fitness levels
Our certified Insanity instructor will push you past your limits with athletic/plyometric drills mixed with intervals of strength, power, resistance and core training. Anyone can do this class, every move has a modification. We are going to Dig Deep!
Incorporates into one system the physical and purification practices of Hatha Yoga; the mental disciplines of Raja Yoga; the prana awakening principles of Kundalini Yoga; the devotion of Bhakti Yoga; and the emphasis on service of Karma Yoga.

Yoga for the body, mind, and spirit. Class includes Pranayama (science of breath), all asanas (postures), relaxation and meditation. This yoga is part of the Eight Limbs of Raja Yoga compiled by the sage Patangali. Class is 1.5 hours.
A great way to end the work week, Slow Flow Yoga is a Kripalu yoga which builds strength and flexibility in the body, quiets the mind, balances energy, and nourishes the spirit. Moving slowly and mindfully allows for greater attention to physical alignment, and coordinating breath with movement allows for deeper states of awareness and ease in the mind. The practice may include breath work, meditation and yoga dance.
A great low impact cardiovascular workout for all fitness levels. Choose your own intensity and challenge yourself to sprint faster and climb harder.
This is the return to basics that works to rebuild your foundation from the ground up. Working to rebuild structral integrity, flexibility and conditioning through corrective exercise, you will work alongside YMCA coaches to identify weaknesses that inhibit your performance. Using a multitude of body weight, and some weight bearing, movements you will be able to break plateaus and continue to progress on the journey to a better you. This all while breaking a sweat too!
A perfect complement to anyone's cardio and or strength routine: Stretch, Strength and Flexibility will simultaneously tone and relax your muscles after a hard workout. In class you will utilize isometric holds along with simple stretches to help elongate the spine and ton muscles you never knew you had. The goal is for you to leave class relaxed and accomplished. All fitness levels/backgrounds are welcome, modifications can and will be made for anyone needing them.
The ultimate cardio strength training class to maximize your calorie burn utilizing STRIVE equipment. Class is held in the STRIVE area of our Fitness Center
Tabata Interval training is the most intense HIIT training on the planet. Each tabata is only 4 minutes long with a work/rest ratio of 20/10, but you will work harder in 4 minutes than you would in 30 minutes of steady state. Best of all, with Tabata Boot Camp you train both cardio and strength without any wasted time.
This new innovative training strategically places high intensity cardio training between low intensity high repetition strength training. This training is not for the lighthearted. Come prepared to burn fat while developing lean muscle mass. Can you make the C.U.T.?
Blends an eclectic array of yoga styles and practices. Wisdom and experience combine to create a class that incorporates a balanced flow of postures with an emphasis on connecting conscious breath with conscious movement.
When participants see a Zumba class in action, they can’t wait to give it a try. Zumba classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before participants know it, they’re getting fit and their energy levels are soaring! It’s easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating, often building a deeprooted community among returning students. So ditch the workout and join the party!
