| Silver Foxes |
A moderately-paced, co-ed exercise class for ages 50+.
Socialize and exercise while increasing cardiovascular fitness, muscle tone, joint flexibility and overall mobility.
A variety of cardiovascular exercises followed by optional water exercise in our Program Pool.

| Senior Strength Training |
Basic strength-training concepts taught on the Nautilus equipment by a trained staff to adults 50 years and older. Participants have their own specialized program tailored to their needs. Benefits are tremendous. Noticeable changes that can occur include increased strength and energy, ease of arthritic pain, and hardening of the bones to prevent osteoporosis.

| Senior Balance Class |
Improve balance and reduce falls using exertube, stability ball, body weight and medicine ball exercises. All fitness levels welcome. Held in the YMCA Studio Space.

| Senior Swim |
For adults 50 years and older, a free recreational swim time in our 86 degree Program Pool.
Lifeguard supervised.
No fee.

| Diabetes Fitness |
A collaboration of YMCA and Fletcher Allen Health Care, this 12-week
physician-referred program includes land and water exercise classes
(land at Fletcher Free Library, water at the Y). Session begins
Sept. 6. Free to members and non-members for three 12-week sessions (one year). Non-members then pay
$60/session after the three sessions. For registration and scholarship information, call the business office, 862-9622.

| Arthritis
Water Exercise |
This class provides the opportunity for people with arthritis or other ailments to participate in a recreational group activity.
Gentle exercises performed in warm water where warmth, buoyancy and resistance help decrease pain and stiffness, and maintain or improve joint flexibility.
No swimming skills needed. YMCA Arthritis Water Exercise is certified and
endorsed by the
Arthritis Foundation.
